12 - 18 months
Our toddler classrooms are a blend of
active stimulating play combined with opportunities to participate in
quiet play like story time and art.
One year old's spend their days enjoying active play by developing their social and motor skills. The children sing, dance, read books, do art projects and participate in circle time. Circle Time is a hands on learning time when they practice their ABC'S, 123'S, colors, shapes, and sign language.
The teachers help them learn how to build blocks, catch and throw a ball, and shape sorting. We also help with social interaction by showing them how to play and share with other children. Each child has their own cot for nap time. We ask that you provide the crib sheet and blanket and to take the bedding home on Friday's to be washed and then return it on Mondays.
